Hand thrown on a traditional potter’s wheel with fine British stoneware, our ceramic breakfast bowls are an exploration of ergonomic shapes, contrasting finishes and tonal shades.

Works of art as well as useful vessels, the pieces stem from Emma’s background in sculpture and extensive research into how people interact with objects, creating a dialogue between the hands of the maker and the fluid shapes and multitude of surfaces that are possible in clay. The textured satin matt glazes on the exteriors and practical glossy glazes within increase the desire to reach out, touch and discover, with each of the breakfast bowls encouraging an intimate interaction with its surprising contours and tactility.

Our hand thrown pottery is crafted by Emma in our North London studio, and has been featured in The Great British Bake Off and The Great Pottery Throwdown as well as British Vogue, ELLE Decoration, House and Garden, Stylist and Livingetc magazines.
